A fatal shooting in Chicago's Fuller Park neighborhood has drawn widespread attention across social media platforms following reports that emerging drill rapper BloodHound Q50, whose legal name was Mikquale Cooper, was killed at the age of 22. According to local reporting and law enforcement updates, the incident triggered a viral wave online largely driven by the timing of the artist's final social media activity posted only hours prior to the event.

Chicago police responded to an early-morning shooting reported at approximately 3:58 a.m. near a BP gas station located in Fuller Park. Investigators stated that a 22-year-old man was seated inside a white Tesla when multiple attackers opened fire from two separate vehicles before fleeing the scene. The victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the chest and shoulder. Authorities have not yet announced any arrests in connection with the ambush, and official public identification remains limited as police continue gathering evidence.

The story gained substantial traction online due to an Instagram story published by Cooper shortly before his death. In the final post, he shared support for rapper EST Gee's newly released album, Bigger Than The Devil, specifically highlighting the track "Sometimes." The stark contrast between the routine promotional post and the subsequent violent attack circulated rapidly across platforms including X, where hip-hop media figures and commentators amplified the news.

Public reaction extended beyond digital commentary as family members and industry figures addressed the incident. Machetta Dudley, the rapper's mother, issued public remarks responding to online activity following her son's death. Prominent industry accounts and festival organizers, including Rolling Loud and media personality DJ Akademiks, also shared tributes, further propelling the narrative into mainstream social media trends.

Police investigations into the Fuller Park shooting remain ongoing. Authorities urge anyone with information regarding the vehicles involved or the identity of the suspects to contact local law enforcement divisions.
