The verification effort traced the underlying footage back to an August 2 TikTok clip posted by TapeBall Voice. Subsequent technical evaluation revealed that the widely shared version had been modified, prompting specialized detection software to flag the visuals as artificial.

Hive Moderation scored the circulating video as 54.6 percent AI-generated. Concurrently, NVIDIA's detection system assigned a synthetic score of 33.3 percent, surpassing its internal 30 percent threshold required to classify content as likely artificial.
