Max Verstappen claimed his first-ever victory at the Marina Bay Street Circuit on Sunday, overcoming Ferrari's Charles Leclerc by 7.335 seconds to win the Singapore Grand Prix.

The Red Bull driver led the race from pole position through all 62 laps, capping off a dominant weekend that also included a victory in Saturday's sprint and pole positions for both events. The milestone win arrived during Verstappen's 10th appearance at the Singapore event and marked his 250th career Formula 1 grand prix start.

Ferrari's Leclerc finished in second position, securing his first podium finish since July. Leclerc applied pressure on Verstappen at the opening corner and managed to narrow the deficit during the middle stints of the race, but was unable to reduce the gap below approximately 7.3 seconds in the closing stages.

Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli rounded out the podium by finishing third. Antonelli successfully overtook Lando Norris and Lewis Hamilton during the grand prix, a result that extends his championship lead over teammate George Russell to 102 points.

The outcome in Singapore marks Verstappen's second consecutive Grand Prix victory following his win in Malaysia the previous weekend. The sequence of strong results signals a sharp resurgence for the Red Bull driver, who entered the weekend having never won at the Marina Bay venue.

With Verstappen's victory and solid points haul across the weekend, Red Bull has closed the gap in the constructors' championship, moving to within seven points of McLaren.
